The day Deb contacted me about photographing their wedding, I knew we would be a great fit. Their wedding would be laid back, boho, intimate, backyard style.. what was not to love about this day?

All day long it rained down, but Deb and Travis didn’t let that stop them from enjoying and soaking up all the sweet moments of their day. In fact, they ran right into the elements to embrace them. They kissed, danced, and laughed in the rain together. Wet hair, dirty dress…. and some of the most genuine photos I’ve ever captured. It was a true testament to what letting go and enjoying each moment can do for you on your big day. Joy, instead of stress. Beauty, instead of perfection.

On top of all of that, they have some ridiculously cute kids (you’ll see them below), and a family/friend group that loves deeply. All of these combined made for a wonderful day, I am SO SO glad I could be there document it, even if I came home with pruney toes from having wet feet for 8 hours, ha! #worthit
