Hi, I’m Rachel

How does the youngest of 8 children in a big Italian family (who are loud and opinionated and interrupt each other frequently) get by? She becomes the observer and listener. I tend to speak less so others can open up & share their vision.

I could say I take candid photos that reveal the real you. I could speak to my more moody editing style, focusing on earth tones and my nontraditional aesthetic. But I like to let my photos do the talking and for you to decide if you like what they say.

DIRECTING VS. POSING

I might tell you to do something like whisper your favorite fruits in your sexiest voice, or to give your lovebug a big surprise bear hug. Whatever I can do to loosen you up, I will. But the real magic in my photography is you. I don’t have any secret formula to get you to reveal yourself in front of the camera. It’s just the calmness and care that I bring. It puts you at ease so that your real emotions and love can come out.
